I work at the Complutense University in Madrid, as researcher and teacher. I am member of the UCM group of Extragalactic Astrophysics and Astronomical Instrumentation (GUAIX) and the Institute of Particle and Cosmos Physics (IPARCOS).
I am co-leading the Operations and User experience work package of the AtLAST-2 EU-funded project and I coordinate the AtLAST UCM node. The final goal of the project is consolidating plans to make a reality the next-generation sub-mm single dish telescope, AtLAST.
Between 2009 and 2022, I served at the European Southern Observatory as Head of Science Operations, and previously as Operations Astronomer for the Atacama Pathfinder Experiment (APEX) observatory, in Chile.
I obtained my Ph.D degree at the University of La Laguna (Canary Islands, Spain), working as international research fellow at the Istituto di Radioastronomia, in Bologna (Italy). You can find here my thesis about the radio properties of Broad Absoprtion Line Quasars.
